Estate Management Balfours are the region’s largest firm of rural property managers involved in the day to day management of in hand and let properties, diversification projects and green energy installations, as well as ownership and inheritance issues. Residential Lettings and Management We are involved in the management of over 2,500 residential properties. Each year we will be involved in the letting of over 500 properties. Residential and Agricultural Sales In any 12 month period, Balfours will be involved with sales and purchases of property with a value in excess of £200m. Planning and Development Balfours know how the planning system works, the course of action to follow and how to negotiate the best deal for our clients. Building Design and Project Management Involved in projects from £10k to £20m, our experience covers residential refurbishments, extensions and rebuilds, as well as agricultural and industrial constructions. Farm Business Development and Diversification Advise farmers how to assess, adapt, grow and diversify their business. Valuation and Insurance Every year we carry out valuations totalling over £350m for all types and sizes of property, for a wide variety of purposes. Commercial Balfours manage a range of commercial properties. We also undertake valuations on all types of commercial property and do so for major lending institutions.
