About Balgowlah Suns JAFL

A Junior AFL club serving the communities of Balgowlah and surrounding suburbs in Sydney's lower Northern Beaches. Part of the AFL Sydney North region. Facilitator of an Auskick program for younger children of ages 5 to 8 inclusive. Balgowlah Suns Junior AFL Club was established in 2015 by a small group of passionate parents with 43 local Auskickers (between ages 5 and 8 inclusive). In 2018, the club has grown to 340 children divided between the Auskick program and twelve junior interclub teams. In 2017, the club was awarded the highest-growth club in Sydney and Best Club in the Sydney-North region by the AFL.
