Ballet and Dance is dedicated to providing area dancers with the opportunity to train with the best teachers of Upstate New York. The school prides itself on creating technical, expressive, and professional dancers, creating the foundation necessary for its students to pursue dance in the future if they choose to. Partnered with the local ballet company, Syracuse City Ballet, Ballet and Dance students are given opportunities to perform in high quality, professional ballet productions, sometimes in front of audiences of 2,000 or more. The combination of their outstanding training and performance skills, these students grow to become diverse, full rounded dancers. At Ballet and Dance students can train in styles such as Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Modern, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Tap. The school strongly supports that having training in Ballet affects all styles of dance as they use ballet vocabulary, technique, and movement.
