About Ballymena Rugby Football Club
Ballymena RFC was first affiliated to the Northern Branch of the Irish Rugby Football Union in 1887. Ballymena currently play in Division 2A of the All Ireland League. The club has five adult teams as well as four youth teams, U14 to U20 and a thriving Womens section. The club is widely recognised as having one of the largest and most successful mini sections in Ireland with over 200 primary school age players registered.
