Bamboo Guesthouse is perfectly situated midway between two award winning golf courses, and 5 minute drive to Knysna's bustling town centre with vibrant waterfront and restaurants, the famous Heads and Leisure Isle's two sandy beaches. The 8 beautifully decorated garden cottage rooms, accessed via elevated wooden walkways through our magical gardens, 3 well equipped bamboo screened or walled courtyard garden rooms and 2 elevated loft suites all have separate entrances and are as sociable or private as one may wish to be. The sumptuous Honeymoon Loft suite has a large private sitting room with doors to an elevated tree top deck and an enormous bedroom with half poster bed, wood burning fire and full bathroom with roll top bath. The honeymoon garden cottage is tucked under trees in a secluded part of the gardens and has a large private deck with attached undercover terrace. The bedroom is large with a king size bed, private sitting room area with wood burning fire and a luxurious full bathroom has an enormous handmade bath!! Each cottage room is equipped with a flat screen colour TV, original local artworks, tea and coffee making facilities, ceiling fan, wall heater, ipod docking radio clock and bar fridge. The private terrace, deck or courtyard garden is a perfect place, after a day filled with all the excitement the Garden Route has on offer, to relax and enjoy a cold drink while taking in the many bird varieties the garden attracts. A full English breakfast is served on the deck in our very own piece of original Knysna forest or cosy breakfast room. Guest are invited to lounge in our poolside Boma in a corner of the gardens, where evenings spent in around the Boma's firepit are a treat with the option of a traditional braai (barbeque).
