@BAMREFOfficial, we are committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in football officiating. Our organisation stands at the forefront of empowering Black, Asian, and Mixed Heritage football officials, ensuring they have the support and resources they need to thrive on the pitch. Our Mission. • To offer guidance, support, mentoring and counselling to existing Black, Asian & Mixed Heritage Referees. • To work with the football authorities, other football diversity and inclusion organisations, professional and national game clubs, players and fans to ensure there is a level playing field for existing and new Black, Asian & Mixed Heritage referees to progress in the national game. • To Increase Representation within all levels of the game from Black, Asian & Mixed Heritage Referees. • To drive and support positive action initiatives, that promotes diversity and inclusion in all pathways of football officiating. This includes tutoring, match day delegates, observing, referee coaching, referee administration and refereeing leadership. We hold national conferences at historical venues such as Wembley Stadium & Villa park, hosting hundreds of officials from BAMH communities. • We continue to play a significant part in the development of targeted national programmes, which has led to targeted recruitment, specialist training, coaching, networking seminars for Black, Asian & Mixed Heritage Officials. • BAMREF team works collaboratively with major stakeholders such as Kick It Out, The PGMOL, The FA & County FA’s across the country, to drive forward our message and goals on diversity and inclusion of Match Officials from our communities. We ensure the celebration of our current and past BAMREF officials and highlight their successes & achievements across our social platforms
