Trisha Villanueva and Lloyd Ortuoste created #Baonanas, the world’s first new-take-on banana pudding company, emulating a refreshing, engaging, feel-good, and personal connection with their customer base. Beginning in 2015, they specialize in creating a corner of the dessert market that is completely unique from conventional offerings. With three brick and mortars, numerous revenue streams in wedding/corporate catering, wholesale, and Markets/Events, #Baonanas has transformed into a multi-faceted enterprise with a diverse business portfolio. Our Flagship, #Baonanas HQ, has additional offerings such as coffee, tea, sparkling fizzy drinks, character macarons, and much more. As they say, the proof is in the pudding, and our success comes from our focus on producing from scratch in small batches, developing innovative flavors, and using fresh fruits and wholesome ingredients. What makes Baonanas different from banana pudding is that we use a light, fluffy mousse instead of pudding and we’ve created many flavors that omit bananas completely. Our original/classic flavor consists of a vanilla mousse layered with softened vanilla wafers and sliced bananas. After a 12-hour soaking period, Baonanas reaches its optimal texture, similar to tiramisu. Every bite is a one-of-a-kind experience with textures and flavors that can’t be found anywhere else. With 40+ flavors, some of which are vegan and gluten-free, the dessert market is ready for its newest market disruptor. The company launched a franchising program in 2022 to inspire and mentor the next wave of entrepreneurs that are baonanas for spreading happiness with this light, fluffy dessert.
