Baptista e Soares is a family-owned business with 40 years of experience in fashion apparel industry. Founded in April 1st, 1981, by Manoel Baptista and his wife, Maria de Lourdes Torquato Soares, in Taíde, Póvoa de Lanhoso, it has gradually expanded from a modest regional business into an international manufacturing company. Our compromise has always been the same. Started with our grandparents, from generation to generation, we aim to deliver the most beautiful and well-crafted clothes, in a short lead-time, being always kind to our people and planet. We believe in a fair world, and amongst all the things, we believe that fashion should be beautiful from inside out. This is what we stand for. Being a part of one of the most polluting industries in the world, makes us wonder how we can improve our practises. Our values led us to adopt internationally recognised standards to assure the making of our garments will actively reduce the ecological footprint of our activity. Not yet satisfied, we are working to be carbon neutral factory in ten years, producing clean energy, reducing our waste and reforesting areas nearby.
