Founded in 1946, it is the oldest plastics factory of Leiria, being now in the third generation. Located in Gandara dos Olivais, near Leiria, Baquelite Liz, S.A. produces plastic articles by extrusion (PVC pipes, HDPE and LDPE pipes, hoses and profiles) and by injection (boxes and containers, bottle crates, construction products and housewares). Product and process control are essential activities to ensure the constancy of the properties of the final products, being evaluated at all steps of the production, as to determine its conformity with the requirements, regulations and applicable standards, following our Quality plans. The management policy of Baquelite Liz S.A. also takes into account the impact of its activities and the environment, evaluating the reciclability of its products and using recycled materials when applicable.
