About Barcelona College of Chiropractic - Fundació Privada Quiropràctica
The Barcelona College of Chiropractic was established in 2009 and is fully accredited with the European Council on Chiropractic Education. The BCC delivers a programme of study in Chiropractic during five academic years. Since 2014, the BCC has graduated more than 110 new chiropractors working around the world. The College is an international bilingual institution with a team of world-class teachers delivering a 5-year full-term curriculum. Traditionally, chiropractic was based on three fundamental pillars: Philosophy, Science and Art. Finding the balance between these three pillars in developing the curriculum is a priority for our academic team. In keeping with chiropractic principles, the curriculum combines the study of basic and clinical sciences with a deep reflection on the body’s ability to optimise health. The two official languages of the school are Spanish and English. The programme of study is structured with the help of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra’s language department to ensure fluency in both languages upon graduation from BCC. BCC has developed its unique curriculum that strives to marry the discipline of chiropractic with advanced teaching, learning and assessment strategies.
