About Barcelona & Madrid Health Hub

The Hub is a non-profit association created to drive innovation in digital health and promote its transfer to the healthcare sector. With more than 500 members including startups, corporations, healthcare institutions, universities and investors, Barcelona Health Hub (BHH) started in 2018 and has already established itself as a global reference hub. Following its example, Madrid Health Hub (MHH) launched in 2025 with the main mission of turning Madrid into a new epicenter of digital transformation in healthcare, fostering collaboration between the key players in the sector. Barcelona Health Hub is located in the impressive architectural complex of the Recinto Modernista de Sant Pau in the heart of Barcelona. The complex, designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner, housed the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau for almost 100 years. The BHH Headquarters occupies four pavilions spanning more than 5.000 square meters, combining Art Nouveau with the latest technology in digital health.
