Founded in 1954, Bareiss has always been committing to the manufacturing of the highest quality testing instruments for hardness, abrasion, and elasticity. Much of its technology development has been devoted to the testing solutions of elastomeric materials and plastics. Bareiss's competitiveness drives from its core competencies and core products. As high as 95% of in-house fabrication rate and a team of experienced engineers are the backbone of our capability for custom solutions. The leading position in the industry has also made Bareiss the very first DAkkS calibration laboratory in Germany (for hardness testing of elastomers) accredited and supervised by DAkkS - the highest technical authority under the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology in Germany. This accreditation, following the ISO17025, enables Bareiss to provide calibration services on Shore and IRHD testing devices which can be done in Bareiss's laboratory facility or in the field. An official DAkkS calibration certificate thus can be issued by Bareiss after the calibration service is done.
