Barmac Contracting Ltd. is your partner in providing complete field services to the oilfield, forestry and civil infrastructure industries in Western Canada. From lease construction and reclamation, to road building, road maintenance, plant site & pad preparation, pipeline right-of-ways, logging, mulching and log hauling, as well as civil construction; we have the personnel, equipment and expertise to ensure your projects are completed on time and on budget. Our comprehensive safety program takes a team approach in the creation, implementation and continual re-evaluation of our procedures, practices and policies. We are committed to providing a safe work place for our employees, for the general public and to protect the environment. We are also devoted to helping our employees achieve success and giving back to the communities where we work. The company has been operating largely in the Pembina Oilfield area since 2004 and is locally owned and operated by Bart MacLean and Norma Block. We hold a Certificate of Recognition (COR) and employ a full-time Safety Coordinator to ensure the safety program is continually being implemented and renewed. Updates are made to the program when new equipment is purchased, new technology is incorporated, new legislation relating to work-sites is introduced or new ideas are presented by management, supervisors or employees.
