Barmedas.Com Ltd. has been serving Mwanza since 1993. After seeing a unique niche in the high tech market, we established a full IT service and consulting firm in 2004 specializing in systems integration for business and institutions. We create custom solutions for each client based on their specific needs & provide outstanding technical solutions for both business and entertainment through our IT and TV departments. The company has a large client base throughout Tanzania. In 2013, we partnered with SAMSUNG to sell and service their products. As the only approved Samsung service center in the region we will be honoring their warranties. For solutions in Power Protection, we have partnered with Sollatek. Machachari Advertising & Promotion Services (MAPS) is our TV production unit. In Swahili, Machachari is slang meaning “uncompromising and determined”. We strive to inform, educate, and interact with the people of Mwanza. We regularly broadcast public interest shows such as City Council meetings, Press conferences at the Regional Commissioners and Regional Police commanders’ offices, and community interactive programs. MAPS broadcasts its local content on Barmedas.Tv. The station disseminates real time information based on LIVE reporting and daily updates. We boast for having an extensive Fiber Optic cable network with radius of 25km from town center. A total of 150+ kilometers! This digital connectivity enables us to do wonders for the marvelous town of Mwanza.
