Barr Air Patrol, (www.BarrAirPatrol.com) founded in 1940, is the largest, nationwide provider of high quality, safe, aerial pipeline patrols and Right of Way Inspections. We have 44 aircraft operating from 23 bases nationwide flying onshore and offshore for many of the largest oil, gas and petrochemical companies. We also offer the Talon 360 Enhanced Intelligence System that captures imagery of every moment of every patrol and is fully ingestible with esri's oriented imagery viewer. We also collect LiDAR and imagery for geo-hazard monitoring and class location work and perform methane leak detection. Just like our customers, safety is our top priority. Our approach to safety is unmatched. If pipeline operators want to hold their air patroller to the same standards as the contractors who touch their line, Barr is the solution the world’s largest oil companies work with exclusively. Our pilots are all salaried with full health benefits and have same flight time qualifications as airline pilots which reduces turnover. Having the same pilot greatly improves the quality and safety of the patrol. We have a comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS), we have a dedicated, full time, Director of Operations, Safety Manager, Chief Pilot, Asst. Chief Pilot, Director of Maintenance and Dispatcher all with extensive industry experience. In addition to a young fleet, each aircraft is equipped with real time weather, traffic avoidance, satellite tracking, special collision lights and more.
