About Barrett Family Wellness Center

The Barrett Family Wellness Center is a community-based, pediatric occupational and speech therapy facility dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of children and their families. Our integrated team of professionals function collaboratively to share their large knowledge base of how to provide the best possible sessions for your child. Our center was created to treat children AND educate parents on how best to help their children at home. The parent education piece is often missing when a child receives therapy in school. We are proud to offer a fun and stimulating facility, complete with a 1,000 sf sensory gym filled with functional toys and suspension equipment for all ages. Our sensory integration tools and experience add to your child’s unique therapy plan and progress. We have observed remarkable improvement in any form of treatment when the child is sensory-balanced to their specific needs. We offer a full range of occupational and speech therapy programs that address developmental problems in children including those with: Sensory Integration Dysfunction, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Nonverbal Learning Disability, Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome, Mobility Disabilities, Sensory Processing Issues, Receptive/Expressive Language, and Speech Sound Disorders including Articulation and Phonological Disorders.
