FARM-TO-TABLE Bartels Farms is a vertically integrated meat company that achieves 100% full traceability from farm to table by means of clear separation of 100% Grass Fed Natural cattle/beef and Certified Organic cattle/beef throughout each process step. Quality control and quality assurance procedures are in place to ensure optimum food safety and consistent quality of the process and products. Bartels Farms is Oregon Tilth Certified Organic (OTCO) at both the harvest and processing facilities and has maintained Organic Certification since 2007. Because our operations are Organic, any effluent (wastewater) generated from our operation contain purely natural elements. Our sanitary interventions require industry standard organic compounds that ensure that nothing harmful to humans, animals or the environment is ever spread on our adjacent 300 acre ranch. Bartels Farms uses no pesticides, defoliants, or commercial fertilizers and continually strive to operate our business in a way that minimally impacts our employees, neighboring community and global environment. Protecting the health and wellbeing of our customers while producing high quality meat products is a priority that our entire processing family shares. Bartels Farms 100% Grass Fed Natural (GFN) beef is a premium line of fresh beef from cattle raised on lush pastures of the Pacific Northwest. Supplementing with grass pellets allow cattle to ingest more energy from their feed, resulting in meat cuts and ground beef that are healthy and consistently flavorful. The use of premium proprietary grass pellets allow for an abundant supply of high-quality grass fed and grass finished beef year round.
