Barton Ct. Productions Inc. is an independent entertainment company of creative revolutions, offering independent movies, music, books, and other products from various different artists through its own products and various creative media services. Barton Ct. began in 1999 as a group of kids making home movies with cheap video cameras. In May of 2006, Barton Ct. went corporate. In 2009, Barton Ct. will celebrate its 10 Year Anniversary. Having said that, we can go ahead and safely say that we have been around a while. But Barton Ct. is more than a name. It all started with Stephen Wolfe on his hometown street. A common indie film maker type, Stephen began producing films with a distinct style aligned with his favorite action-horror genre. In December of 2002, key player Scott Lee entered the company. Together with prior Board members Charles Green, Travis Hallett, and James Monaghan the company oversaw the completion of over 75 different short films and the release of their first commercially produced DVD - Barton Ct. Collections Volume 1. What has largely begun as a sort of fringe movement, typical for any small scale independent entertainment company of any kind, Barton Ct. aims to make independent art of all mediums a little more mainstream. The entire culture of the company has become largely centered over the support of independent artists, education, and further variety of creative expression external from mainstream distribution channels.
