Base Displays was formed February 2002 as a trade only supplier of plasma screens and ancillary products. My industry contacts at that time enabled us to quickly forge relationships with leading vendors and suppliers and this enabled us to offer competitive trade pricing to our dealer base. We have been a Panasonic Pro Display Distribution Partner for the last 20 years, offering trade prices and comprehensive support levels on their range of plasma and LED screens. In addition to supplying new screens, we have found bit of a niche market with Panasonic's ex-demo/refurbished stock. We regularly receive stock in that has been used at their exhibitions or on demo sites, we also receive their service and reconditioned screens which we offer at substantially reduced trade prices. Our range of products now includes screens from Samsung, LG, NEC and most other leading manufacturers where we have developed relationships due to our ability to reach out to a wide target market of AV/IT and specialist resellers. We also have a very close connection with Unicol Engineering and can offer very competitive terms on their range of audio visual mounting solutions including custom brackets and furniture designed for any application.
