BaseFEST strengthens military communities. 1. Life on base and life after leaving military service are tough on our troops, spouses and veterans. Suicides are high. Spouses feel disconnected. Troops deploy and go off to train. Veterans and troops feel lonely and isolated. 2. We are now in the Experience Economy. 74% of Americans now choose Experiences over "Things." Why? Sensation Deprivation. Too much information in the digital age. 73% of 13-49 year olds agree that "Now, more than ever, I want to experience REAL, rather than digital life." 71% of Gens X, Y and Z agree that, "The moments that give me the most life are live experiences. More than 2/3 Gens X, Y and Z attend a live music event each year. 3. Demand for BaseFEST is sky high. Over 100+ bases have applied to host a BaseFEST since 2017. Over 20,000 troops attend a BaseFEST on average, with million of digital impressions extending the "fan journey" for months "before, during and after" giving something for the community to look forward to every year. BaseFEST is an annual music festival brought to military bases and VA medical centers worldwide that is FREE for troops, families, veterans and communities. BaseFEST has "Something for Everyone" as troops, families, veterans and the base community enjoy Music, Food & Beverage, Kids Games & Activities, Sports & Fitness, Technology, Shopping, Adult Games & Activities & more. Through Community Events, BaseFEST's Mission is to boost morale and quality of life for troops, veterans and their families, assist with recruiting and retention, talent acquisition through HIRING ZONES, and build strong base and VA communities that form the backbone of our military.
