Basic Steps Mental Health provides a wide variety of services. We treat individuals, couples, families, groups, and have an Intensive Outpatient Program. We are an alternative to the 12 Steps and treat the root causes of addiction and mood disorders with compassion and care. Participants are taught numerous Psychological approaches and learn a self-counseling method for ongoing stability well after treatment. We address problems four ways: Physically, Mentally, Emotionally, and Spiritually. Since 1994 our Clinical Director Dr. Scott Alpert has treated over 7,000 people. He is a supervisor, lecturer, author, and radio personality.
