About Bat Conservation & Rescue QLD
Bat Conservation and Rescue Qld Inc. (BCRQ) is a registered not-for-profit volunteer organization that strives to raise awareness of the importance of all bat species, provide a prompt and humane rescue service, foster informed communities, and rehabilitate bats to return them to the wild. We support the Queensland community by providing a 24/7 rescue hotline for the reporting of bats in need of rescue, and provide bat-related advice to landowners, organisations, and government. We further undertake community outreach via events and school talks, and support organisations to minimise threatening processes upon Australian bats (such as wildlife friendly fencing).
