What we want to do: AI and ML has taken the world by storm with powerful predictive, generative and forecasting capabilities, and is quickly becoming something every company and business is seeking to incorporate to further drive innovation. Recent developments such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT and DeepMind’s imagen models are only a small glimpse of what the future has to offer in this field. This new society aims to bring together everyone and anyone who is interested in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Science (regardless of academic background) into an inclusive and thriving community! This group provides a means to discuss, collaborate, share ideas, and research into this fast-evolving and fascinating field. Aims and Objectives: Our underlying aim is always to develop into a vast, diverse and thriving community of students who are collectively interested in the fields of AI, ML and Data Science. Over the next coming months and years, we would like to expand to involve and incorporate more people into collaborating, discussing and researching, and hopefully get more people interested into this fast-moving domain. We would also like to scale-up AI/ML talks and seminars for the society by inviting key leaders in the industry to talk about the frontiers of research and development in the AI/ML/DL field, perhaps of their expertise.
