I am the managing director of Bauklimatik Dresden Software GmbH, which I founded together with 2 colleagues in 2018. Among other things, our company develops and distributes software for the numerical simulation of building structures (1D, 2D, 3D possible) and supports engineering offices and surveyors, for example, in the analysis of moisture damage and the preparation of expert opinions and remediation solutions. For more than 25 years I have been working as a scientific assistant at the TU Dresden in the department of building physics and also as a lecturer in the further education of engineers and architects. Our customers include well-known building material manufacturers, engineering offices, architects, experts, and research institutes. It is very important to us that scientifically based findings in building physics as well as current standards and applicable law are incorporated into our software programs and are not only available to other experts but also offer a high added value: e.g. shorter project runtimes and improvement of work results.
