About Baxter & Grimshaw Foundation Inc
The Baxter & Grimshaw Trust was established in Adelaide in 2001 under the auspices of the Seven Seas Club of Australia Inc. The purpose of the Trust was based on the Seven Seas Baxter and Grimshaw Trustee Ltd., London. The Adelaide Trust was then succeeded by the Baxter & Grimshaw Foundation Inc. in 2020. The new body was incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act SA 1985 in April and registered as a not-for-profit charity by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission in July. We retain strong links with the Seven Seas Club of Australia Inc. All Foundation office bearers are SSC members. Most importantly, our mission has not changed. We are the only not-for-profit charity in South Australia solely focused on providing maritime training and experience for disadvantaged young people (up to 25 years of age).
