Bayshore Retreat is a drug and alcohol treatment center with only 6 clients at a time in a home environment. It is located just off the bay in beautiful Destin, FL. with all bedroom having a restful water front view. Clients receive about 30 hours of counseling and a holist approach to healing the body. They're allowed to bring their cell phone and lap top and stay in touch with business, friends and family while taking care of their addiction issues. In addition to freshly prepared meals by a professional chef, clients receive sauna therapy, a deep tissue massage weekly, yoga, and real life activities. The philosophy at Bayshore Retreat is rehab need not be a punishment - it's a gift to come there and be in a nonjudgmental environment. Counseling includes twice weekly with a mental health counselor, Life Skills, and group sessions everyday except Saturdays with various professionals in the field of addiction.
