We are a family-owned and operated pest control company with over 25 years of experience in the pest control industry. Our President, Brian Barton, worked for the largest pest control provider in Canada as a service manager for 15 years prior to starting BBD in 2009. Unlike larger companies, we offer a unique experience for our customers – hear what our customers have to say about BBD Thermal Remediation, our sister company. We started BBD Thermal (Bed Bug Detectives) and specialized in bed bug detection and eradication using ONLY green treatment methods. Today, we have earned a reputation as being industry leaders with our highly effective treatments and concrete results. In fact, BBD Thermal Remediation was nominated as a finalist for ‘Innovative Business of the Year’ in 2019 with the Halifax Chamber of Commerce – a nomination that we worked very hard for and are extremely proud of! Based on the success of BBD and BBD Thermal Remediation and the eco-friendly treatment methods we use, we decided to expand our service offerings to include full service pest control. BBD Management work closely with our technicians to maintain the highest standards of service and ensure we are always leaving our customers happy.
