About bbuildsupnepal

The economic and social circumstances in Nepal are challenging; not only in the areas still suffering from the aftermath of the 2015 earthquake. Civil war, poverty and the restrictions of the caste system create victims. As always, children are the most vulnerable. Even those who still have family suffer from neglect, and the inability to meet their needs. Boys and girls alike find themselves on the street; in Kathmandu alone there are 5000. This must stop. Our goal is clear: to build a better life for children in Nepal for instance with a project for street children in Kathmandu or other projects which have an immediate impact on the children lives. A Transit Home is a fantastic concept. It takes in children on a temporary basis, helps them with their immediate health and life needs. This safe space is the starting point for their journey back to their childhood - and then onward to a better future. Together with the authorities we assess what is necessary to empower their families to provide a perspective for them This is also a personal goal, with each of us – a group of 7 people located in Germany and USA plus all our buddiesl – having a special connection to this magical but long suffering country. We have made a start, but we need help to make a difference. We need your help – please join us as a supporting member or donate. We support THE CONVENTION ON THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD!
