About BC Construction Safety Alliance
The BC Construction Safety Alliance (BCCSA) is a not-for-profit association that provides services to over 52,000 construction companies employing approximately 220,000 workers. We are funded by industry through WorkSafeBC annual assessments and are governed by a Board of Directors whose members represent all sectors of the industry: residential, road building, aggregate, ready-mixed, industrial, commercial, institutional, and heavy construction. Worker safety is our number one priority. To that end, we offer a range of member services and supports (most of which are free) for construction (Sector 72) and select aggregate and ready-mixed employers that (a) focus on injury prevention and creating or enhancing a culture of safety on construction sites; and (b) meet a diversity of needs among owners, managers, supervisors, and workers. We offer many services, resources, training and consultation to the construction industry some of which are as follows: COR® Certificate of Recognition SiteReadyBC (online construction safety orientation) Online and In-Class Safety Training NCSO® and NHSA™ Designations Certified Concrete Operator Program (CCPO) Safety Culture Survey Traffic Control Program Regional Safety Advisors (Consultations) Fire & Flood Restoration Program THARRP Silica Control Tool™ and much more...
