BCIT Women in Computing (WiC) is a student-run club. WiC was founded by a group of like-minded individuals who wanted to create a safe space for the female students in Computing programs at BCIT. WiC welcomes all students from the Burnaby and Downtown campuses who support the club's goals of • Empowering women in a male-dominated industry, • Promoting women in Computing and Technology, and • Connecting students with female professionals in the Vancouver Tech Industry. By hosting events and collaborating with local companies, WiC supports its members by sharing tips, tricks, and networking opportunities.
