William (Bill/Billy) Claerbout has enjoyed working in the exciting and evolving world of rotational molding for the past 25+ years. He has worked in all aspects of the businesses he has served and has helped start several successful factories from the ground up. With his wealth of knowledge and firsthand experiences in rotational molding, Billy wants to spread his enthusiasm for this industry with others to help continue advancing this industry for generations to come. As a young man, Billy started his career in rotational molding in his family’s factory, Dutchland Plastics. In 2013, he and his wife made a career change. They joined his wife’s family business, Fibeco Corporation in Sheboygan Falls, WI where they brought Billy’s love of rotational molding to Fibeco by developing a proprietary process for creating prototypes for roto molding. From filling resin buckets, to casting, supervising, machine scheduling, efficient mold changes, quality control, setting up complex ERP systems, logistics, developing good workflow units, assembly lines, and everything else in between, Billy has worked in all aspects of manufacturing. He has built new machines, taken down and moved old machines, and has helped organize and set up factories from the ground up. His vast knowledge of all the inner workings of a business diversifies him, and his passion and love for rotational molding will continue to drive him in the future. He enjoys testing new materials and processes, challenging part designs, and being able to serve a wide range of industries. After being sought after and approached for help over the years by individuals, designers, engineers, molders and manufacturers, Billy developed another passion – helping others succeed in rotational molding.
