About Be Active Beds

We are the active partnership for Bedfordshire & Luton. Our aim is to work with local partners to support, develop and promote high quality opportunities for people from all backgrounds and abilities to get involved, stay involved, and succeed in sport and physical activity in Bedford and Luton We bring together a range of groups including local authorities, national governing bodies, coaches, clubs and volunteers to develop a local strong sporting infrastructure that ensures sport and physical activity is easily accessible for everyone in Bedfordshire. We can help with sport grants, funding applications and generally offering advice and assistance where needed. We are also looking for sponsors for our annual School Games Event, where over 1000 children from Bedfordshire compete in a variety of sports. Our Project Managers run Sport England projects locally such as Sportivate (sport for 14-25 year olds), The Summer School Games (30 June 2016) and Workplace Challenge (getting local workforces active). These much needed women coaches can then deliver some female only sporting sessions locally to get more Luton women active.
