Beach Cities Scuba began in 1993 with the purchase of a dive shop in El Toro, California. From there, the company moved to Dana Point, California and assumed one of the oldest dive shops in SoCal. As these titans began to retire, Beach Cites Scuba would purchase their location and continue serving the local dive community for all of its scuba needs. Incorporating in the early 2000's; Scuba Mania, Inc. Dba Beach Cities Scuba began to expand to other locations. The Newport shop and the infamous Laguna Sea Sports joined the family and completed the trifecta of the oldest dive shops in the area. These entities have served Southern California since 1962 and were owned by some of the original divers and dive professionals in California. Their stories were rich and their history amazing! With pride, Beach Cities Scuba continues their traditions and hopes to continue to serve the local community as well as the greater United States in scuba equipment, travel, rentals, training and more! With hundreds of brands, a professionally developed staff and connections around the world, Beach Cities Scuba continues to be the largest dive operation on the west coast. Today, these business are located in San Diego and Orange counties and continue to grow. Our mission is to create a safe learning environment, be stewards of our beautiful Pacific Ocean and offer high-quality equipment to scuba divers the world over.
