About Beacon of Hope Counseling Services
At BHCS we work with all ages and all genders. We feel it is important every client feel heard and validated. Our specialty area is working with children/adolescents ages 3 - 17. Another area of specialty is working with our LGBTQIA+ population as well. We strive to help each client meet their highest potential, and by that we mean our therapists are kind and nurturing, but they also provide honest/truthful feedback in a caring format so that you can reach your goals. We will not disrespect you, we will be transparent. We also encompass the "Family Unit" into the services when possible. One therapist says, "I cannot expect my client to do well if someone in the home is not doing well". Here at BHCS, we work "with" you as a team. We do not feel anyone should feel alone and isolated when working through life's challenges. Clients take part in their treatment planning and the client also begins to lead their sessions as they begin to transition out of therapy services.
