About Bean Coffee

We are a Northwest based company, with our head office and Roastery based in Liverpool. Our whole team shares the same ethos – to provide the best coffee, food and service we can, every day. At Bean we are genuinely passionate about coffee and sustainability. We carefully source and roast the highest quality Arabica beans from single estates around the world and we only ever use single origin, traceable beans. Where possible we use Rainforest Alliance and Fair Trade varieties, and have a commitment to quality and traceability that reflects in the quality of our coffee. We take care to ensure we're always choosing the most eco-friendly options available and we're constantly looking at ways we can improve. Our takeaway cups and packaging are 100% compostable, the retail coffee bags we use are carbon neutral, we use paper for takeaway items instead of plastic. We are also very aware that the carbon footprint of coffee beans can be quite extensive, especially with the amount of miles they tend to travel! To reduce our impact on the environment and keep the coffee mileage down, we roast our beans right near out Liverpool stores and send out one van a week to cover all the shops in one go. We have shops in premium office locations across Merseyside and Greater Manchester. Working closely with property companies such has enabled Bean to grow in a sustainable and effective way, providing real benefits to both parties.
