We are an interior architecture and design studio with a reputation for creating beautiful homes and refined spaces. We are an established practice that collaborates to be able to bring to life cherished ambitions of our clients. Over the past decade, Bear René have transformed homes and commercial premises around the world to create meaningful spaces that are both original and enduring – practical and beautiful. By developing an innate understanding of their personal style and way of life, we are able to curate designs that embody them. When it comes to bringing these designs to life, we have a practical approach. We are respectful of our clients’ time and therefore carefully orchestrate the process to bring everything together in the most effective way possible. Behind Bear René. Established in 2006 and led by founder Nicola Oaten, Bear René has developed a reputation for unique interiors and a personal service. As Champions of craftsmanship, we are supported by a select group of suppliers and artisans who share our love of classic design, allowing us to create individual and refined spaces. Although aesthetics are at the forefront of our practice, how a space is experienced also depends on how well it functions. Our knowledge of both design and architecture allows us to create environments which are exciting yet practical. Over the past 18 years, we are thrilled to have travelled with our clients to complete projects across the UK, as well as the US, Europe, Africa and Asia. We are also proud to have had our designs featured in publications such as The World of Interiors, The Sunday Time, 25 Beautiful Homes and International Property & Travel.
