Bearhill Brewing was founded by three lifelong friends raised in Jasper, Alberta, who shared a passion for hospitality and a vision for creating meaningful, community-driven experiences. Having grown up in the food and beverage industry in their mountain hometown, they recognized a gap in the market for locally rooted dining and drinking experiences—places that truly reflect the character of the community. What began as a love of craft beer and a desire to celebrate local culture evolved into Bearhill Brewing: a company built on the belief that beer should be made for, and belong to, the community that drinks it. This foundational principle continues to shape everything we do. Today, Bearhill is a dynamic and growing family of brewery and distillery-based restaurants that serve as cornerstones in the communities we operate. Each of our locations is deeply rooted in its surroundings, reflecting the spirit, history, and people of the place. We are committed to producing quality-crafted beer and spirits, creating authentic hospitality experiences, and fostering emotional connections that turn guests into advocates. Our portfolio includes Jasper Brewing, Banff Ave Brewing, Last Best Brewing & Distilling in Calgary, Campio Brewing Downtown & Ritchie in Edmonton, and the Maligne Range in Jasper.
