As the the official destination marketing organization for Beaumont, Texas, our mission is to entice groups, conventions, meetings and leisure travelers to choose Beaumont as their meeting or vacation destination. These people impact the local economy through hotel occupancy taxes and tourism dollars that significantly affect the economic development of Beaumont. Our office is funded through these hotel taxes; therefore, our efforts are concentrated on replenishing this fund. Beaumont is Texas with a little something extra! Where Louisiana Cajun meets Texas cowboy. We're located 90 miles east of Houston on I-10 and just minutes from Louisiana casino gaming. Here you'll find big cookin', big events and big fun. From bird watching and botanical gardens to swamps and gators, you'll find plenty of things to do inside and outdoors. With classic Cajun cuisine, zesty Texas barbecue and authentic Mexican fare, the restaurants are as spicy as the people who live here.
