IMPORTER AND DISTRIBUTOR OF LUXURY COSMETICS HISTORY AND BRANDS 1974 Piersandro Catelli founded Beautimport that has been ever since a major player in the Italian Market of the distribution of luxury cosmetic brands such as Chanel, Barbara Gould, Ungaro, Rochas, Jean Patou, Lacoste, Glycell, Alfred Sung, Tiffany. 1996-2008 International Licence of Terme di Saturnia skin care involving manufacturing, marketing and distributing the line worldwide. 2008 launching its own natural-bio products Vegederma Bio. Beginning of distribution of Peter Thomas Roth, and Beauty by Clinica Ivo Pitanguy. 2011 Kosé Corp. engaged with Beautimport to launch in Italy their premium line Cosme Decorte. 2013 Artdeco Group partners with Beautimport to develop Beyu and Anny at Douglas and Artdeco in the selective perfumeries. 2014 Troll Cosmetics entrusts Beautimport - four years long - the exclusive distribution of Juvena, Marlies Moeller and Declaré. 2019 Lubin Paris, perfume maker for more than 220 years, appoints Beautimport as legal representative & logistic partner in Italy. THE FUTURE Nicola Catelli joined the company in the late ‘90s. After 4 years in the US in 2013 he took over Beautimport from his father to perpetuate the expertise acquired in four decades. KEY FACTS In-house specialist in EU legislation and importation, warehouse granting on-time logistic service, sales force specialized in prestige cosmetics. MISSION Providing the best service from the import duties to the best placement/sell-in/sell-out of the products through A&P activities. DIGITALIZATION Digitalization and interconnection of business processes serving the distribution of high-end cosmetic products. The project consisted of the digitalization of all those parts of the company that had not yet been digitalized: the accounting and finance area, warehouse management, order and product management. Project created thanks to European funds from the Emilia-Romagna Region.
