Beaver Group is a private holding company based in Perth, Australia. We invest in private businesses and partner with their leaders to grow these via organic growth and acquisitions. We are a permanent capital investor and own businesses for the long-term. We are led by successful entrepreneur and business owner Josh Beaver. We typically invest in businesses that look like: • Ownership – typically founder or family run. • Industry – primary focus on industrial services, value-added distribution, and specialised manufacturing. • Revenue – $5m to $50m. • Profitability – $1m to $10m EBITDA. • Location – headquartered in Australia (no restriction for add-on acquisition). Our primary goal is to help our businesses succeed. We provide permanent capital, access to a team of experts, and support in target areas to accelerate growth including strategic planning, digital marketing, sales process & team development, technology enablement, talent acquisition, financial controls & decision-making, and add-on acquisitions. We typically make majority acquisitions that look like: • Growth capital – strong growth opportunity, owner keeping 25-49% and staying to grow the business. • Transition buyout – established business, owner looking to take some money off the table, keep 10-30% and run the business for another 2-5 years before full exit. • Complete buyout – established business, owner looking to retire and sell 100%. We typically invest 100% equity (no debt) with a permanent time horizon.
