About BeCharged

The core business of BeCharged consists of the development of intelligent charging stations where electric vehicles (cars, motorbikes, scooters, bikes, boats,…) can ‘fill up’. This may be done either on public or on private terrains. However, at BeCharged, we’re talking about more than just a simple charging station. Our charging stations, which are supported by highly developed software, can be fully monitored, controlled and operated from a distance. The mission of BeCharged is to create a framework enabling faster development of electrification within the transport sector. To a large extent, this will depend on the availability of a dense grid of charging stations where electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles can recharge. That’s why BeCharged intends to build such a network as soon as possible. We believe that this is only possible if our products are affordable and comply with high-quality standards, so that they can be acquired by everyone. Therefore, it is necessary to constantly keep on focussing on innovation in this fast growing market. This ambition is also reflected in our products. Among the target group of BeCharged are companies who want to provide recharging infrastructure for their personnel, customers and own electrical fleet on their own premises; or also cities and municipalities who want to provide such infrastructure in public places, including support for private persons who do not have a garage at their disposal and will have no choice but to recharge their vehicle on the street.
