About Bedford Group
Bedford Group is a not-for-profit registered charity that exists to support people with disability to live the life they choose through jobs, pathways and opportunities. As the second-largest employer of people with disability in Australia, Bedford delivers a broad range of employment options, services and supports for nearly 1,500 clients across 22 sites in South Australia. Part of the community for over 80 years, Bedford provides meaningful employment pathways that build independence, skills, teamwork and growth opportunities across various sectors, including hospitality, packaging, electronics recycling, mattress recycling, design services, laundry services, manufacturing, and horticulture and landscaping, along with smaller social enterprises in regional South Australia. Bedford offers new pathways to open employment for people with disability, in addition to a range of NDIS-approved support structures such as skill development, micro-enterprise support and social programs through our Learning and Experiences and Employment Programs. Our Bedford-backed social enterprises - Cultivate Food and Beverage, Dovetail Advanced Manufacturing and GreenInc Landscape Construction - offer a range of products and services, with all profits returning to Bedford to create more opportunities. These social enterprises are pathways to open employment for people with disability and other barriers to employment.
