We’re parents of two wonderful boys, and like many families, bedtime is often a mix of magic and mayhem. In search of calmer evenings, we made storytelling the heart of our routine. But we’re very different readers, one devours books, the other picks one up on holiday, and our kids don’t always sit still for story time. Then we noticed something: when the story was about them, they were all in. Just like they love baby photos of themselves, they lit up when they became the hero of their own tale, wide-eyed, attentive, fully engaged. We believe in the power of reading, but we also know how hard it is to invent stories night after night, especially when you're exhausted or bedtime feels like a battle. That’s why we created Bedtime Bard. Bedtime Bard is an AI-powered storytelling platform that makes bedtime easier and more magical. It creates personalised stories based on your child’s interests, reading level, and unique needs, always gentle, kind, and filled with adventure. Every story also comes in audio format, perfect for early mornings when your child is up and you’re not quite ready to be. We don’t see Bedtime Bard as a replacement for books, but as a spark, something that fuels curiosity, encourages library visits, and opens the door to new authors and worlds. We started Bedtime Bard because we believe reading can shape a lifetime, and because every parent deserves a little breathing room. We’re blending timeless storytelling magic with modern tech to keep the wonder alive, without the stress.
