As a physio, Kirsten Lord, CEO of beelineMSK®, was frustrated by treating patients who had developed persistent and avoidable issues because of late or poor management. This led to many experiencing problems that became debilitating, despite their condition being manageable, treatable and often preventable if treated earlier. To make healthcare easier to access, Kirsten led the creation of PhysioWizard®, the first clinically validated and CE Marked digital musculoskeletal (MSK) triage platform in the UK, sold to organizations including Nuffield Health, NatWest, NHS England and the health insurance sector. PhysioWizard® was purchased by an Australian company and is no longer for sale in the UK. Digital health is a fast changing field so to engage patients fully in the user experience and journey, it’s essential to gain deep understanding of peoples relationship with digital tools as they change over time. Learning from extensive user testing and feedback from patients, clinicians and organizations over the past 15 years, DigitalMSK has been created to meet the wants and needs of today’s patients. DigitalMSK pathways are designed to upload into digital and AI platforms enabling organizations to integrate, configure and quickly deliver their own bespoke digital front door to MSK care. We have partnered with a global health tech company to release a commercially available self-assessment and triage platform for deployment into the health and wellbeing, clinical and insurance sectors and are currently launching to flagship clients. We have three business models; partnership, license to our digital platform and license to the clinical pathways of beelineMSK® (background IP). Patients are driving the demand for organizations to deliver digital options, in today’s business environment - this is a key differentiator that offers numerous additional benefits.
