About Beetanicals

As a family of third-generation beekeepers with two small children, you could say our story is a serendipitous one. While our hives have been in the family since 1939, our Beetanicals journey began in 2015. When a search for natural products to treat our newborn son’s dry and sensitive skin proved unsuccessful, we decided to make our own. Being long-time lovers of bees, we were well aware of the wonderful antibacterial and nurturing benefits of beeswax. The product we had been searching for was right before our eyes. A subsequent family caravan holiday through central Australia exposed us to some of the incredible healing powers of Australian natives. And so, in conjunction with a formulator and a world expert in aromatherapy and essential oil safety, the first batch of Beetanicals balms was born. The key balm ingredients – beeswax and Manuka honey – are sustainably harvested across the family hives and are combined with specially formulated Australian native botanicals and essential oils to bring to you toxin-free skincare products that soothe and protect skin and promote overall wellbeing. Our balms are all handmade in small batches with care, kindness, and quality in mind, while our raw honey is hand-poured on our property and sealed with love. Today, Beetanicals continues to provide families with natural, toxin-free, and effective health and wellness products to soothe, nourish and protect skin, support immune health, and promote general wellbeing. Harnessing the power of nature’s medicine from our very own beehives, Beetanicals is on its way to becoming a household name in natural skincare Australia-wide.
