About Belmont Abbey's Benedictine Volunteer Corps

Following in the footsteps of Saint John's Abbey, the monks of Belmont Abbey have offered Benedictine Communities around the world it's most valuable asset... its students. The mission of the Benedictine Volunteer Corps is to provide an opportunity for recent Belmont Abbey College alumni with 9 months of volunteer service. While participating in the monastic life of these Benedictine Communities, the volunteers use their skills, experience, and hearts to support the people of the community. Every year the organization has sent volunteers to a variety of monasteries in India, Africa, and the United States helping people in need and changing the lives of our volunteers for the better.
