Bélya is a fashionably fun company that designs and makes original clothing, shoes, and accessories for women, men, and children. We apply our artistic design vision to traditional African styles, colours, and patterns, and then combine these with contemporary Western fashion styles. The main materials we use are African wax print fabrics, leather, and cotton. The selection of materials is as important to us as the designs and craftsmanship. Each article is handmade giving them personalised attention ensuring high detail, quality, and unmistakable uniqueness. The integrity, value, and creativeness present in all our products is evident the moment you touch, look a little closer or try them on. We are a socially responsible business. It is a matter of choice and pride that Bélya’s founder and designer Aissatou Sene sources materials from Africa and employs African workers and services to realise every creation.
