BenchMark Energy (BMRK) is a leading provider of Glycerin, a co-product of biodiesel production used commercially in numerous end markets, including engines, motors, and boiler operations that are currently using number 6 diesel or any sludge fuel can burn our Glycerin Fuel. When refined, glycerin is used in high-end consumer products such as cosmetics, soaps and shampoos. Our global distribution platform and diversified production network ensures reliable supply of quality glycerin worldwide. With the rise in renewable fuel production over the years, particularly biodiesel, comes an overabundance of off-grade glycerin. This type of glycerin, also referred to as “crude glycerin” is about 80% pure. It accounts for one-tenth of every gallon of biodiesel produced. While the demand for glycerin in general has remained stable, the demand for refined glycerin, technical grade and higher, has risen. It is for this reason that we at BenchMark Energy have focused much of our attention on distribution and refinement of glycerin. BenchMark Energy sells both crude and refined glycerin.
