The Benjamin Franklin Classical Charter Public School is a free, high-achieving, kindergarten to eighth grade, regional public charter school in Franklin, Massachusetts. Among the first charter schools in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Benjamin Franklin Classical Charter Public School opened its doors in September 1995 with 150 students in grades kindergarten through four. Each year, a grade was added until we reached our full capacity of 450 students, spanning grades K-8. The four pillars of our mission – Parents as Primary Educators, Classical Education, Character Education and Community Service – guide us in all we do and keep students, staff, families, administration and board members engaged in a rich tradition of innovation and success.
