About Berea Baptist Missions, Rancho Sordo Mudo

Berea Baptist Missions, Inc exists to create ministries for the deaf worldwide. To teach the deaf how to read, write, vocational training, and biblical training. Training up future leaders, teachers and missionaries to go out and serve. To provide free homes and schools where the deaf children can live in a Christian, wholesome, happy, safe, biblical and educational environment. BBM,Inc flagship ministry is Rancho Sordo Mudo, a free home and school started by Ed & Margaret Everett in March of 1969, and currently directed by their sons Ed and Luke Everett. SInce 1969 RSM has educated over 400 students and encouraged thousands of individuals to missions or to learn sign language. RSM is currently in the process of building a missionary training center where they will be able to train any one interested in Deaf culture, missionary work and etc, in order to send them out to reach the largest unreached people group in the world; The deaf. BBM,Inc has currently visited and served in: U.S.A., Mexico (Chihuahua, Baja California Sur,), Guatemala and Haiti. In February of 2011 we will be sending out our first missionary to serve at a home and school for the deaf in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico.
